These are some progress pics of the piece called "On the Prowl". Its done in charcoal on pastel paper and its approximately 18 X 18 inches. See the finished piece on the original art page.

These are progress pics of a bull African elephant called Mabu. Its done in oils on a 30 x 40 inch gallery wrapped canvas. These images show in part what some of the sketches I create while visualizing the composition. You can view the finished piece in my original art page.

These pics show the progress from blocking in the base colors to the final details. This is Duke. This was a commission for a happy client. its done in acrylics on 18 x 24 canvas board

This is a small and simple project that's on 9 X 13 watercolor paper. I was fortunate to have a taxidermy mount to use as reference. This is of an American Wigeon in flight
